The Steamer Wharf website was in need of a new, more modern website but also lacked the tracking data to understand the customer journey.

Audited the previous website to understand what was working and where the customer journey broke down.

Set the priorities for the rebuild and formed clear hypotheses about how to improve conversion.

Design and build

Reorganised and optimised each page to better facilitate the customer journey, with clear CTAs, an improved customer flow, on-page SEO, and a future-proofed site architecture.

Test and learn

Implemented custom events via Google Analytics 4 so visitor usage could be measured and acted on.

After completing an audit of the previous website, the team reorganised and optimised each page to better facilitate the customer journey. This included producing clear CTAs, enhancing the customer flow, improving on-page SEO, and future proofing the website's architecture.

Understanding visitor usage is important for any website. To ensure high quality data, we implemented custom events via Google Analytics 4. This allowed us to see standard events like pageviews in addition to data for specific elements of the site like the new accordion, outbound links, and new tenant pages.
